The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping with apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ from iRobot
The Roomba J7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. The most significant advancement, however, is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. It makes use of AI to recognize objects such as charging cables and shoes. It's the first robot to send you images of objects that it encounters, so you can instruct that it is safe to avoid it.
The Combo J7+ is the most efficient mop robot we've ever tested, picking up spills and dirt effortlessly and leaving no trace that it was there. The iRobot app makes it easy to control. It can schedule cleanings and even create Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't sweep in areas that you don't want. It's also compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant, so you can turn it on and off using your voice.
Its design is an improvement over the rest, with a sleek top piece that appears more like a toy robot rather than a loud, loud one. The Clean Base Automatic Dirt Disposal System self-empties which is great for reducing your cleanup time.
In our tests, the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and even pet hair. self cleaning vacuum -rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one place instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able capture small gravel, sand and even a bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot do this. It did without getting caught up in our pet's hair.
The j7+, although not as sophisticated as the $1,217 Roomba S9and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and it can't clean the stairs, is still a good option for those who require both mopping and vacuum. It's not expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, however we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a long time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to tell whether the update is functioning until you've seen it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors, a hybrid is the ideal choice. These bots are equipped with a water tank, so they can vacuum and mop simultaneously. They also have a number of additional features, such as smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and the ability to dry and wash mopping pads. They are expensive at retail, but usually are reduced on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock is one of our top robot vacuums, and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's the cheapest model in their auto-empty line. Although it might not have some of the more expensive features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories) however, it's a great choice if you are willing to compromise to save a few bucks.
The Q5+ is notably soft around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it a great choice for homes with lots of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality fall short. The technology for navigation in the Q5+ is superb as well, with only a few missing in corners and on walls.
The Q5+, as with other Roborock products, can be controlled by a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go zones or adjust your home map, or change the room's label.
If you choose to purchase the Q5+ model, it comes with a brand new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make the robot easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver to install, but once in place the process of emptying the bin is easy. It also features an impressive LCD display which is great to have when you're setting up schedules or altering settings. This feature isn't necessary for the majority of people, but it can help you easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a smart well-rounded mop and vacuum. It's capable of both mopping and vacuuming. Its design is among the top in the market however, it's costly.
Its base station looks good and is hidden when it's not in use, and the size is relatively compact. The main reason to buy the station is that it can automate many tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to do this.
Its vacuuming performance is quite impressive, too. It's the only robot vacuum I've tested that does an excellent job of removing the dust from floors with no. It's also not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.
But automatic vacuum has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable and reliable as other robot vacuums. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the home. It's not able climb stairs as well as competitors, either and it doesn't have a dock that lets you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for plush carpets.
While it doesn't offer as much in the way of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for a comprehensive robot vacuum and mop that's worth the price tag.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options available. A lot of eufy models are considerably less. The Eufy Qrevo curv, for instance, is cheaper, but offers many more features, like the ability to climb stairs and a full-function Dock, with an improved overall experience when vacuuming on plain floors carpets, low-pile carpets and even high-pile ones.
4. Eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company with an established track record of making robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different, offering a capable cleaning of hard floors and mopping functions as well as carpets at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up by snapping one of the side brushes on, turn on and plug in the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps required to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock near an outlet for power and enough space to allow it to move around however.
The G30 is small, 2.85 inches tall to be exact, which means it can be placed under couches and other furniture with a low clearance. Its design is a little less flashy than some of the rival models, sporting sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Clean (which cleans the area in spiral patterns for 2 minutes). You can also connect the G30 with Amazon Alexa or Google Home for voice commands to perform routine cleaning tasks that are not scheduled.
The primary feature that makes the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of non-movable objects that are in its path, remembering what it's already cleaned and the areas it's not able to access. When it needs to recharge, it will automatically return to its base and resumes cleaning where it began.
The eufy G30 has its flaws, though. The iRobot Roomba 675 is much better built, incurs lower recurring costs, charges faster and has a similar battery life while offering better performance on floors with no carpet and carpets with a low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin, which doesn't require the same amount of emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is, on the other hand is less expensive and is much easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't need to be empty as often and it's less trouble with bulky materials such as cereal.
